Give it a rest, what is the point?

They're convinced of Jeremy's guilt but spend all their time on here arguing about it.  At least I admit I don't know either way.

The Point being, I get pulled up if I don’t respond to your posts by Roch.

I didn't pull you up, I just pointed out that JP was right regarding nobody responding to Bill's clock post, which was in response to a post from Jane. I believe this related to 4.04am FSU (I may be mistaken)?

Oh right I thought you was referring to me not responding to Bill Roch, my apologies but that’s how I took it?  I didn’t respond to his earlier post for reasons I gave after and to be honest when I’ve been out I sometimes don’t check back on all missed posts.

Well as far as I could see, there was no real response other than to say times were confused. I would have to revisit the conv to understand the full meaning.

I know how the law works.

In which case you would surely appreciate that police officers will be working from handbooks, manuals or such like which set out clearly defined rules about what they can and can't do based on their rank?

Hi Roch, I’ve revisited the call out times, it’s as I said very confusing and no one gives the correct time.  It’s a Approx. Three different statement has Bews calling for TFG at three different times, 4.00 am, 4.09 am, 4.11.  Adams says at 4.00am he hears radio chatter about firearms etc which coincides  with Bews calling in at at 4.00 am, he says he doesn’t hear anything for a while, this coincides with getting approval from Harris at  4.15 am/4.16/4.18 am take your pick.  Adams would obviously have made his way back to HQ before Harris approval on the assumption he would have been needed?

If you look at an interesting point, it says the firearms team were stood down at 4.04am and returning to HQ in PREPERATION for firearms to be drawn?  So I think it was more in anticipation that they would be needed at this stage due to the nature of the Call and reporting and radio chatter.  Hope this helps mate but I’ve tried my best but that’s why I answered it being confusing.  I do think if anything, a call to Harris would have been much sooner if they already was aware about a shooting incident because if you look at further posts it says Harris didn’t give his authority till 4.30am

Good to see the forum working better, in terms of discussion.
Thanks Roch, would you concede that Jeremy knew there was no one in the window and it was possibly a trick of light, when Adams arrives and  in the presence of Jeremy and  Bews, Adams goes into question Jeremy about layout etc and then asks THEM what had happened, Bews goes into detail and then says No Sign Of Life with Jeremy stood at the side of him. This is at 5.00am when he arrives.

For some reason Adams notes don’t download?

Julie Mugford the main prosecution witness was guilty of numerous crimes, 13 separate cheque frauds, robbery, and drug dealing and also making a deal with a national newspaper before trial that if she could convince a jury her ex boyfriend was guilty of five murders she would receive £25,000

Sorry for delay; I’ve been away. There was no operation or training manual back then. It was a matter of judgement and common sense, plus taking advice from Sergeant. In my situation help was always 1.5 hours away, so we very rarely asked for any, we just improvised.

As to why Jeremy didn’t mention the figure in the window, I don’t know. Maybe he did and it wasn’t noted. There is quite a lot that he remains confused about or can’t remember. Perhaps the shock of discovering that his family were dead has caused him to blank out some things. Even mundane details with no bearing on the case, he doesn’t remember.
I thought Roch said you told him that he passed Rivlin a note to ask Bews at trial, he’s probably got it wrong. Why didn’t he say something when Adams questioned both Jeremy and Bews and Bews said, No sign of Life at 5.00am with Jeremy present. Why didn’t he tell anyone in the family he had seen someone at the window, why didn’t he tell Julie, why didn’t he say in his statements or when he was on the stand?

At which point did he know the family were plotting against him? At which point did he know the police were gunning for him. And if the police were gunning for him, why would they admit to any sighting any way? His family wanted him guilty full stop.

Again, it’s what Bamber says HE saw and yet he never ever mentions anything about this sighting when HE has chance.

When Jeremy and the police arrived at White House Farm they saw movement in the master bedroom.

I imagine he'd have been fully aware that the family disapproved of him. They all knuckled down to  working at the family business whilst he appeared to skive., but I convinced he was too arrogant to think anyone would doubt his story.
