He follows the evidence & says 'this did happen'.

One shell casing was found a few steps down the landing. I believe three of the shell casings from shots fired a Nevil bounced off the wall, while one went passed the door frame onto the landing area. As the reconstruction below illustrates

Why would Nevill call Jeremy and not Len Foulkes, John Seward or other discreet friends?

No, on the contrary I think it’s rather good David, it doesn’t fit into the Sheila scenario of others who think Sheila shot Nevill because he tried to stop her shooting the Twins first, the bullet numbers and rapid fire don’t add up for that one.

Why didn’t Sheila shoot Nevill while he was downstairs first on the phone and if he was too scared to confront her in the kitchen waving a rifle about and he had to phone Jeremy for help, why did he run upstairs without his gun/rifle or some implements to confront her.

That is a good point. A kitchen chair or stool would be easy to carry upstairs & protect his head & torso.

Because that is simply is not how the events transpired. Sheila wanted to shoot to June, when Nevil came upstairs to help he became a target. This was a stochastic commotion not something though out rationally.

I don't think shooting your own daughter would cross anyone's mind in that situation.

Oh she wanted to shoot June but keep Nevill alive, but because he tried unexpectedly to help June she shot him eight times and battered him for getting involved, even to the point of following him downstairs when he’d had enough.  Oh right.

Nevill had not been shot when he went upstairs. In David's scenario.

If the twins were already shot, Sheila would have to join them. I think if Nevill got in the way of that, Sheila would have no choice but to stop him in turn.
