Why is the sixth station away of any significance? he would have just looked up Witham, 15 minutes away for a Police car.

Bamber initially said he phoned Witham. Then said he didn't. Witham was manned. The Judge said Bamber should know whether he phoned Witham or not.

JB wouldn't even have phoned the police if he'd been guilty. Wouldn't he have just turned over in bed and left it for the early morning workers to find the family ? Being as there'd been no trace of him having been at WHF during the night, he may as well have stayed where he was.
