I agree but this is an aspect of the case that cannot be determined with the information at our disposal. Both sides can claim their version is the truth. However, who would believe the story of police who burned significant evidence on the day.

Did they burn evidence on the day? Thought it was several days afterwards. Bamber agreeing to it.

If it was on the day or a few days later, Taff may have been the one giving the order.

Yes four murders and a suicide or five murders and they are burning evidence unheard of!

Either they knew for sure JB was innocent or they were covering up something?

It was just the way things were done in 1985. Taff had decided it was murder/suicide.

Douglas Hurd ordered a change in protocol after the trial.

They burnt the items I listed on 07/08/85. The list only included items that were identifiable other items could have been burned.

On the Wednesday they burnt items with JB's permission. I understand that this largely consisted of bed linen and carpet.

The following weekend JB burnt items of clothing belonging to Nevill and June.

You cannot get away from these facts.

Rubbish my friend it was not Taff's decision to burn anything. The first burning was decided by those in charge of the cover up. The other two decisions were JB's

So the police shot Sheila. Then burnt evidence straight afterwards to hide the fact.

Taff not knowing what was happening.

EP had approached JB regarding burning of blood-sodden items, i.e. carpet, to which JB signed a docket to allow.

I like the way that on this thread Adam quotes the same post four times.  It really adds something to the Forum.  I'll leave you all to it.  Thanks Adam.
