Sami, if ther rifle was reversed, surely the trigger would have had to be pushed, not pulled?
Very good point Jane 👍

I've said this several times, RJ, but I guess because I'm so lacking in knowledge when it comes to firearms that the theory was dismissed as ditsy. However, when I think of firing a gun, the barrel is pointing towards a target and the trigger is pulled. Surely, it has to work in reverse, and the trigger must be pushed if the gun is pointing in the opposite direction?

Yes, and the easiest way to that is by using the thumb, otherwise you'd have to twist your hand/finger in an unnatural way.

Maybe that's what caused the dent in her nail.

Neither her thumb or fingers are very near the trigger in the photos - that's highly suspicious.

The rifle had been moved don't forget-----if only to have been made safe.

Because the gun would have been facing her.

In such a scenario, I think that would be most likely.

Her finger would have remained on the trigger after the first shop prompting another shot immediately after caused by an involuntary movement of her body.
no lookout it was a semi auto rifle not full auto.had she done what you suggested there would be no second shot, she would have to let the trigger come back to its starting point than push it again.full auto and the above scenario would happen %100.but the rifle was a semi auto

Hi Sami, Ive never fired one, everyone says the trigger was easy to pull, yet I’ve read on forums the 525 was a heavy pull trigger?  Any idea mate, here’s one

I loved it, but it had the worst trigger of any gun I've ever owned! It was accurate enough at 50m, but the God awful trigger (Which I never really got 100% used to) stopped any decent groups being shot.

Is that a safety feature, Sami, or nothing more than how the model is designed?

Here’s a few more

I had a 525 but didn't keep it long as I didn't like either its length or its trigger

- Have read online that the trigger-pull is a bit rubbish...

s anyone aware of trigger mods for the 525 - just wondering as I saw jeff's post about it having a bad trigger pull..

I wonder if pushing the trigger was any easier?

no its just the design jane, some people like to have more control hence one full pull of the trigger will pnly let one shot go,where as in full auto the bullets come out at a high rate of speed hence when trigger is pulled one can never be in control of the shots,i have fired a handgun on full auto as soon as the trigger was pulled it let out 6 shots in a couple of seconds

I wonder how many times Sheila would have practiced holding a gun, in a way designed to take her life, to test how easy it would be to push the trigger?
