Credible witness?
« on: December 27, 2019, 03:48:PM »
Jeremy’s legal team is still waiting for the public interest immunity file on Bamber’s girlfriend at the time of the murders Julie Mugford whose evidence that he told her

‘he wanted to kill his parents and that it was “Tonight or never” did so much to convict him’

Taken from Julie Mugford's Statement - 8th August 1985

Her account of the 3.30 a.m. phone call is pretty weird.  ‘Jeremy called in the small hours sounding ‘disjointed & worried’ to say there is ‘something wrong at home’ & her reaction is to tell him to go to bed. M

In Julie Mugfords handwritten diary entry

Julie noted that Bamber said - "Everything is going well" Shiela has gone mad and his father didn't know what to do.  I said don't worry - and Jeremy replied I've not been to bed all night - I told him to go to bed and try to sleep since everything would be OK in the morning.

Julie Mugford had the charges dropped for FIVE separate criminal offences in return for giving evidence against her ex boyfriend.

Credible witness?
Julie Mugford the main prosecution witness was guilty of numerous crimes, 13 separate cheque frauds, robbery, and drug dealing and also making a deal with a national newspaper before trial that if she could convince a jury her ex boyfriend was guilty of five murders she would receive £25,000

NGB how credible is the evidence you have seen regarding Julie Mugford agreeing to the money on a guilty verdict pre-trial?

It does depend on what Jeremy actually said to her, but I find it hard to believe that she would just tell him to go to bed. After all, a phone call at that time of night would be taken seriously by most people, especially that kind.

If I was JM and telling the truth I'd just say that " I know he killed them !" Why didn't she ? It's all that everyone's waiting for ??

David I also need the dates of all Mugford offences for a video I am posting on the Instagram and twitter feeds of all the people associated with the new drama for and new people interested in the facts surrounding the case

And David most people wouldn’t offer to view the bodies of the victims knowing there boyfriend had just told them he was responsible

She gave a statement and ‘witheld’ Her ‘truth’

Does that make 6 charges ?

Most people, receiving a "panicked" phone call from a relative, at silly o'clock would assume there to be an emergency and respond accordingly, ie call 999. It would not include phoning a friend.

I'd like to see a witness statement from whoever picked her up to take her to Essex. What was she told and when? She must have known something awful had happened if Jeremy told her the police would pick her up. Were her flatmates around at the time or what? I'd like to know what her reaction was.

Not in your eyes no,  the title of the thread is credible witness, credible witness against who?

Correct. It's about what Julie was told when the police picked her up, and her reaction to it.

She probably thought because he hadn’t phoned the police first it wasn’t important enough?
