Jeremy chose money over his family's lives.

That's not relevant. We're discussing Julie.

How could/did he, it was already in the planning by the relatives after they'd seen their own paltry legacy ?

I have no idea what you mean, Lookout. You seem to be implying that the relatives planned to kill the Bambers but I must have it wrong.

Okay, back to Julie. I suspect she thought -hoped- she was likely to get a ring on her finger. Isn't that what most young and in love women hope for?

All I can say is that he had a lucky escape.

Well I'd have said he's well out of it. I also reckon that had he been found not guilty he'd have been dead before now too !

Why's that then?

I do wonder what Jeremy thinks of Julie. His spokesperson doesn't mention her much, and Jeremy's anger seems to be reserved for the police and his relatives.

If he's guilty, he must have been hopping mad that he was convicted and that she got got away with it. Like I said, I think he perceived her to be some kind of accomplice. She got away with the burglary, the cheque fraud, and the drug dealing. Not only that, but she got paid a lot of money by the NOTW. She went on to travel the world, and got herself a nice husband, family, and job.

If he's innocent, how must he feel about her story? She helped put him in prison all this time!

So why, if she's guilty, did she come back to England to give evidence -albeit, she wasn't called?

I don't know the background to that, but obviously she didn't want him to be acquitted on appeal.

He wasn't acquitted, anyway.

I think if innocent. Jeremy put to bed the bitterness he harboured in the early years of his sentence. He knew it wasn't going to help him in his plight

I'm not certain, Lookout. I thought that it was just Julie who wasn't called but I could be wrong.
