but wouldn't it be much more plausible if Jeremy Bamber was guilty that he would have waited till the early hours when all the family were asleep. And was startled by nevill who had been awoken by June ( she was by all accounts a notoriously light sleeper) after Jeremy entered WHF the farmhouse. Nevill goes downstairs to investigate which commences the father, son violent struggle

Why not go there on a legitimate basis and wait until they are separated. Nevill walked the dogs and took a shower before bed. Bamber knew this so he just had to wait until he was temporarily out of the way.

That would make sense but for all the cartridges found in the bedroom (and one on the landing). It would make so much more sense if Nevill had been shot eight times in the kitchen, but he wasn't.

so you are suggesting that nevill was out walking Bruce and crispy whilst Jeremy murdered the family? And that it was when he was returning for a shower back at the farmhouse Jeremy ambushed him and killed him??

I think it's a possibility, yes. Easier to separate them.

I don't think he was shot from behind, so if he was shot going downstairs, the killer must have been downstairs at the time.

Oh, hang on though. The stairs turned so the killer could have shot Nevill in his front even if the killer was on  the landing.

Why? His clothes were downstairs, he could have changed into them after the shower.
