Nugnug, Michaela, Marty and Sandra L in particular have been vocal on this forum re the SH confession so I will be interested to see what they have to post now in relation to their previous posts on the subject.

And what I don't understand is why someone would make themselves an interested party, put forward questions and statements to the Court - presumably out of concern? Then drop out at the last minute? What could be more important than learning how a loved one died?

I was made aware of a large amount of information prior to proceedings and how indeed some people may have 'gone to the police about me and given statements?' What I find interesting is that nothing has come of this and I'm keen to learn the motives of these individuals..

Prior to and following the death of SH I was subjected to a hideous amount of vitriol, harassment and abuse and from various individuals who appeared to be going out of their way to target me. Why was this I wonder? i have many unanswered questions as I'm sure other readers do and the fact it has been publicly suggested that the campaign to clear SH's name prior to confession had 'soap opera' qualities - or words to that effect needs further exploration... Especially in light of the fact (this week) erroneous comments continue to be being made about me which are offensive and require rebuttal...

"The hearing heard from Shaun Hall, the brother of the deceased, who objected to any adjournment.

He said: “This has gone on for quite a long time already and it’s had its toll on everyone.”

I'd be interested to hear what 'toll' he was referring to and to whom? What was his motive to become an interested party but then drop out at the most crucial point?

The definition to 'take its toll' is to harm or damage something or someone, especially in a gradual way.

He failed to attend his brothers inquest? His brother had died! Was he playing the victim?

SH also refers to a 'wobbler' attachment style in his letters

Attachment disorder as an antecedents to violence and anti social patterns in children

He'd had multiple care givers before he was fostered at around the age of 2 years 9 month for example.. He'd been fostered previously to this (by another family) for a couple of weeks.. I don't think he was adopted until he was around 7 or age years of age? Though this was with the same couple who fostered him when he was nearly 3.

The first two years of a child's life is the most important of all.  He had no permanent primary carer until he was almost three.  So much emotional damage would have been done by then that with the best intentions in the world it would be almost impossible to heal such a child, especially if that child had also been abused in those first two years.  People who have such appalling starts in life are victims themselves with no conception of how to form relationships no matter how much they may want to.

The above article talks about this Maggie, including external stress factors whilst a child is in the womb http://www.hhs.csus.edu/sw/document/syllabus/fall%202008/sw224reader_gagerman.pdf along with of course attachment surrounding the time after 2-3 years and other factors.

When I recently met with a police officer who was involved with the original murder investigation one of his main questions was why did SH do what he did. From my research it suggests not much research has been done in relation to murder where a sexual element is involved (I've posted in relation to this a page or two back - with links).

From SH's previous public blogs he refers to having been on the at risk register before he was born. Neglect, abuse - it all features in all the articles I've read on the subject. Though of course not all children who experience this go on and commit crimes of violence or murder.

That's true, some of them commit suicide, maybe other's are luckier and get help early in their lives which enables them to cope with their difficulties.  It probaly also depends on genetics, temperament etc.

This link may be of interest http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/content/108/2/e30.short

According to SH he started misusing drugs at the age of 10 and he had scars from self mutilation on both his wrists (aged 17). Of course both these behaviours are a form of self harm/abuse. According to research, a males brain is not fully developed until the age of around 24.
