That's a totally ignorant and spurious reply. You suggest that it is an accomplishment to hit someone lying in bed or that the shots to torso arms and legs were 'on target'. Neville had been shot in the head at close range at least twice in the bedroom meaning he was in no condition to dodge bullets.
You obviously know nothing about people having psychotic episodes. Delusions are in the brain and have no physically disabling effect, in fact they become manic [look it up if you don't know what that means].
I've seen a psychotic person in action, and they can kill in a matter of seconds from being lucid or deep in thought------quiet and unassuming,to violent at the flick of a switch in their brain. I still have an old scar-tissue which is visible via a CT scan to prove the lasting damage which can be done by the violence to which they're noted for.
I'd been physically thrown onto an iron-framed bed which I was making after having had a " sensible " conversation with such a patient ( psychotic ). I was winded and suffered bruising to my back/ribs and an x-ray showed a cracked rib which had stopped short of puncturing a lung but damaging the pleura between the ribcage. That still shows up today.
If I hadn't have got away, the girl would surely have killed me. Patients like this were kept in locked cells and if you had to go into these cells, you locked the door behind you to save them making a run for it because their strength and energy is something else.
Until anyone has ever been involved with anyone having an " episode " they've no idea whatsoever.
