Go for it Susan. I don't envy you though unless you were a headmistress in a former life.

MD does seem unsafe to have on the forum, the way he threatens legal action when anyone puts a post up that he doesn't like.

But Jackie faked up this whole thing - and hasn't recieved a ban. I don't think members will find that fair and sorry NGB but it appears that the only reason MD is banned and Jackie isn't is because MD attacked you whilst Jackie attacks almost everyone else on the forum.

Some posts were evidently deleted before I read them.

Part of maintaining a forum like this is to remain neutral not to control the content because if you control the content then you can be held liable for defamation.  if you don't control the content and let people speak their mind then the people making claims are responsible if they defame someone.

It seems some want to yell and scream to have the site control what can be said and can't and thus create a lasting duty to police the content of posts.  Content meaning more than just redacting things out of privacy concerns like phone numbers and the like.

Attacking the site because of what 1 poster does is stupid you take that poster to task in this instance Jackie.

Jackie harmed herself more than anything it seems.  She offered to use private contact information obtained as a result of her employment and her connections.  I didn't see her say she would be acting officially on behalf of her employer it looked like she was suggesting doing such without authorization.  It makes her look rather shady and then her denails and the rest- this whole thread seemed to backfire tremendously against her.

To be honest though how much credence did she have before this?

Being allowed to post here still doesn't eman she will be able to do so effectively.  Most people will probably ignore her which is the best way to make her go seek attention elsewhere.

Pay no attention to Jackie of course.  Since she wants attention denying it to her is the best way to respond.
