Or even Armley jail!  :)  I actually quite liked Armley to be honest, it had a good cafe where you could have a bacon butty while washing your clothes and playing on fruit machines, a rough but cheap pub and a famous carpet shop, what more can you ask for!

 ;D

Can I ask you, what is dock pudding?

I have been expertly informed that it is a delicacy native to West Yorkshire which is made with Dock Nettles (?) and oatmeal, presumably in pudding form and best consumed with lashings of Yorkshire Ale! I no longer drink and have never tried dock pudding but I can confirm that Yorkshire ale is fine ale from the days that I was a hearty consumer of real ale.

I've never visited Halifax although I did once apply for a job at an acute assessment unit there. I've been to a wonderful pub in Saltaire though, I walked from Armley to there along the canal with the purpose of going to an ale and cider house which was well worth the walk!

P.S. don't worry about the name, most of what I say is dross!  ;)

It wasn't so much that I was pleased to get out of Yorkshire, things just didn't pan out the way they were supposed to, I moved from Valencia to Leeds, it was always going to be a hard task! ;) Yes, Halifax seemed nice, I also liked Hebden Bridge, Grassington, Malham and Howarth while I lived up that way.

Speaking of PM's......

Is there a limit to how many pages of PM's you can have in your inbox? I've got lazy lately and stopped deleting them - but don't want it to get full and have people unable to PM.
