Title: 3 Network
Post by: mertol22 on June 21, 2012, 06:09:PM
I hope no one goes through what i have these last couple of days, what may seem a simple task of giving a months notice to end my 3 mobile phone contract has spilled out into a battle to stop using colourfull metaphores over the phone to them, so i have given up trying to call them and wrote a letter today to their head office to order them to end the contract my banters with them these last few days make Victor Meldrew having a phone banter look tame, im moving to the o2 network but they dont seem to understand that, the 3 network is in for a long spell of bad reviews very soon, avoid this company like the plague.

Why are you switching? Did you have trouble with network coverage?

Good luck, these people really don't like to see you go, do they.  I switched my Internet provider recently, well, what a performance!  Anyway, I wish I hadn't bothered, the new service is shite!

Mertol....:) :) Nice to see you, nice! I am with 3 it is cheap and cheerful....300 minutes call time and 3000 texts for a tenner....which I love, because I can chew my ex husbands ear off 50 times a day lolol

I do lose the network occasionally though, which is a pain... :) :) :) :)

I do as it happens....I think they are soul mates, they are best friends too. I think we can be a bit protective with our own...more so when they get to courting age... :) :) :)

You've said that you need to do something with your hair, Patti. I don't believe you need to change it, it looks good as it is. If you do change it, what will you have done? Whatever you do, don't have it cut! Your hair really suits you and long hair always looks extra special. I once had my hair cut when it was very long and I regretted it. It felt like a personality change and it takes years to regrow long hair.

I think you are right Keira. Perhaps a trim is all that is needed.....I was going to scope it to one side, but I think I will leave it natural. Thanks... :) :) :) :)

Wise decision, Patti. You would feel so different if you have it cut. It's like being bereaved ! You'd have the horrible experience too of putting your hand in the collar of your jacket or blouse to flick your hair out and there'd be no hair to flick away. Anyway, you can have a greater range of styles with long hair.

Congratualtions all round Patti.

Best make sure you have a good waterproof mascara or better still have your lashes tinted  ;)

Thank you egap....I used to have my lashes tinted up to a couple of years ago and had a bad experience.

I remember the first time I had false eyelashes on...a few weeks before my wedding. Oh god! I dare not look at my future husband, but he clocked them and while we sat down for dinner...he said "Darling what have you done to your eyes" I bust out laughing, for they looked hideous and, felt 2ft long.  I spent the night twiddling them and some came off, then I was left with gaps....Now I stick to the short ones, which are fine.  :) :) :)

Back in the 60s, one of my eyelashes fell into my soup!!! On another occasion, being driven to a fashion show in the back of an open top car, all dolled up, headscarf keeping hairpiece secure, forgot about affording the same protection to eyelashes, which along with the rest of my eye makeup, ran down my face!!!

Patti, don't do anything radical with any part of you between now and the big day. Allow yourself time to do a practice run with everthing you intend to wear from undies outwards, together with a glass of your favourite tipple, just to get an idea of how the whole picture will look!!!!! Wish you a wonderful, memorable day.

Only after I'd fished out the eyelash, Patti!!!!  No, I excused myself, went to the loo, rinsed it off, dried it on a tissue and stuck it on again!!! Back then, if you wore false eyelashes, you never left home without the glue.......which sometimes leaked in your handbag. Ahhhhh, those were the days. Would I go back if I could? NOT ON YOUR BLOODY LIFE!!!!!

Yes Patti, spit made it much thicker than water so eyelases looked lusher.......well, that's what we liked to believe. Oh! What about the pearly pink lippy that was almost white and at the end of a romantic evening, when HE thinks his luck's in because he bought you a bitter lemon or a Babysham and runs his fingers through your hair and pulls your hairpiece off!!! Oh yes, thems were the days!!!!!

I love CSI....Did I tell you i had an email from Professor David Wilson; he is a criminologist. I have been following his work and I have his book...He has a new TV series on television. His first one was Steve Wright the Ipswich Strangler, the 2nd one was Peter Tobin.....his next one is Robert Black....all very interesting....His message is that a serial killer has killed before.......How sad am I? But, I love it Mertol.... :) :) :)
