Do you get along with the fella, Patti? When my son grows up and gets married I worry about the woman he will bring home.

I do as it happens....I think they are soul mates, they are best friends too. I think we can be a bit protective with our own...more so when they get to courting age... :) :) :)

You've said that you need to do something with your hair, Patti. I don't believe you need to change it, it looks good as it is. If you do change it, what will you have done? Whatever you do, don't have it cut! Your hair really suits you and long hair always looks extra special. I once had my hair cut when it was very long and I regretted it. It felt like a personality change and it takes years to regrow long hair.

I think you are right Keira. Perhaps a trim is all that is needed.....I was going to scope it to one side, but I think I will leave it natural. Thanks... :) :) :) :)

Wise decision, Patti. You would feel so different if you have it cut. It's like being bereaved ! You'd have the horrible experience too of putting your hand in the collar of your jacket or blouse to flick your hair out and there'd be no hair to flick away. Anyway, you can have a greater range of styles with long hair.

Congratualtions all round Patti.

Best make sure you have a good waterproof mascara or better still have your lashes tinted  ;)

Thank you egap....I used to have my lashes tinted up to a couple of years ago and had a bad experience.

I remember the first time I had false eyelashes on...a few weeks before my wedding. Oh god! I dare not look at my future husband, but he clocked them and while we sat down for dinner...he said "Darling what have you done to your eyes" I bust out laughing, for they looked hideous and, felt 2ft long.  I spent the night twiddling them and some came off, then I was left with gaps....Now I stick to the short ones, which are fine.  :) :) :)

Back in the 60s, one of my eyelashes fell into my soup!!! On another occasion, being driven to a fashion show in the back of an open top car, all dolled up, headscarf keeping hairpiece secure, forgot about affording the same protection to eyelashes, which along with the rest of my eye makeup, ran down my face!!!

Patti, don't do anything radical with any part of you between now and the big day. Allow yourself time to do a practice run with everthing you intend to wear from undies outwards, together with a glass of your favourite tipple, just to get an idea of how the whole picture will look!!!!! Wish you a wonderful, memorable day.
