Location and position of anshuzt rifle, on all occasions 'before' it was eventually photographed in Sheila Caffell's possession ( insitu) when her body ended up on the main bedroom floor in time for PC Bird (2nd SOCO team) to capture the faked crime scene photographs

(1) - refer to undisclosed witness statement contents of 'WPC Julia Jeapes', who spots rifle resting against the inside of what turns out to be the 'box room ' window ( the room immediately next door to the main bedroom)

(2) - refer to sighting of woman's body as seen by PC Collins and PC Delgado looking into the laundry through the laundry room window, prior to entry into the premises

(3) - refer to all timed police radio message log contents (7.35am, 7.37am, 7.38am, and 7.42am) no mention of anshuzt rifle being present with / on woman's body in kitchen despite reference to a suicide

(4) - refer to presence of a rifle in one of the crime scene photographs taken downstairs in the kitchen - with instructions that no police officer is to make any mention of this rifle when writing up their notes in pocketbook entries, reports, or witness statements

(5) - refer to police witness statement made by a firearm officer, which states that the .22 rifle was not present downstairs in the kitchen when the police entered it (this coincides with references to a woman's body being present there) as explained at (3) above

(6) - refer to witness statement of Dr Craig (8.44am), and the pocketbook entry of PI Miller, who both mention that the rifle was laid alongside Sheila's body 'on the far side of the bed' at the time both visited the main bedroom and she was pronounced dead by Craig, in the presence of Miller

(7) - refer to COLP statement notes of PS Adams who visited the main bedroom crime scene at 9.00am, where he states that he has no recollection of the rifle being with Sheila's body at that time

(8) - refer to witness statement of Ann Eaton, where she makes mention of being told by a police officer within an hour of them (DS Jones + DC Clark) visiting the main bedroom crime scene, and seeing the bodies of Sheila Caffell and June Bamber which were laid side by side on top of the bed, with the rifle resting on the bed in between both bodies

(9) - refer to photograph of Sheila's body on bed, minus rifle and Bible, with only one bullet entry wound to her neck

(10) - refer to witness statement of PC Wright (Coroner's Officer) who attended the crime scene inside the main bedroom at 9.30am, mentioning that the rifle had been removed from Sheila Caffell's body by that time / stage

(11) - refer to crime scene photograph (no.23) which shows the anshuzt rifle leaning against the inside of the main bedroom window prior to the occasion when PC Bird (2nd SOCO team) took photographs showing the rifle in Sheila Caffell's possession after her death scene had been staged on the main bedroom floor

(12) - refer to court transcripts of DI Cook (2nd SOCO team) and PC Bird (2nd SOCO team) who testify as to the sequence in which photograph no.23 was taken, and who had removed the rifle from Sheila's body and placed it at the main bedroom window position

(13) - refer to COLP photographic schedule, which serves to confirm that PC Bird could not have taken the photograph (no.23) because DC Oakey / DC Henderson (1st SOCO team) had taken the first 25 photographs during a one hour tour of duty inside the farmhouse between 9.00 am - 10.00am, and that PC Bird (2nd SOCO team) did not start taking photographs inside the main bedroom until after 11.00am

(14) - refer to all photographs taken by PC Bird (2nd SOCO team) from 11.00am, onwards, which captured the rifle in the possession of Sheila Caffell
