Should the lead deposit results obtained via hand swabs taken from Sheila Caffell, have been excluded because of a failure to swab the ammunition used in the shootings?

Was the introduction and a reliance upon results obtained solely from hand swab evidence bias in its implications?

What 'if' tests had been done on 'the' crime scene ammunition used, produced similar results as those obtained from the hand swabs? How, in those circumstances could anyone have argued that low levels of lead deposit found on the hand swabs proved in any way that Sheila could not have handled any bullets required to be loaded into the gun to enable her to have been responsible for shooting the other victims, if low lead deposit results had been obtained from swabbing the bullets themselves?
