HELP

my son dropped my iphone 3gs down the loo, that was friday,now it will switch on but switches itself off and the screen doesnt light up..anyone got any ideas how i can get it going, im gutted  :'(

the nearest one to me shona is in manchester, im going to ring apple support tomorrow because if your phone is less than 90 days old i will be entitled to free support, not sure that will cover having it fixed .

the insurance doesnt cover water damage either  :(

Don't tell it went in the loo though, if you just tell them it stopped working they may just replace it under their warranty.

Have you tried plugging it into the computer, and reboot it Andrea

i got it from 02 on contract hartley and ive already told them, they would have found out anyway ,they would have took it apart .

how do i reeboot cliff , still dont know how to use the phone properly yet!

Get itunes up on your computer. Plug your in phone, and follow their prompts.

not showing anything jackie, im just going to leave it for a few more days and see what apple say tomorrow.

Mines dropped in bath before. Leave it to dry out really well in a warm place. Dont keep switchibg it on it might short.

Fingers crossed it might work in a few days!

are you near an O2 shop go in there they are nearly always men they will tell you what to do I havent found Apple that helpful I was going to take out insurance when I got mine but it was nearly as much as the phone.  Its the only phone I have looked after Ive got over 3000 photos and 1500 apps.  I am due to get a new phone in a couple of months if yours is broken you can have mine its like new
