i think they both knew a phonecall was made from whf to goldhanger taff thought it proved innocence rwb thought it ment there must of been a hitman.

Perhaps you'd care to enlighten us on just HOW they knew? MORE! how you know they knew. See Nugs, when you just throw things out there in isolation without giving a thought to what would be the natural consequences, follow ups are going to be asked for.

i think they knew from the redail on the phone.

of course that wouldn't prove that Neville had made the call or what was actuly said in the call hence it could ethere be used to suggest that Jeremy was telling the truth or that a hitman had phoned him to create an albi or that hed done it then phoned himself.

Thank-you for clarifying that, Nugs. So Jeremy could have dialed his own number from WHF and his answer machine could have picked up any message he left? He could, subsequently have erased the message?

Thinking about it, if a 'hit man' allegedly forced Nevill to ring Jeremy, there's no reason why the 'hit man' couldn't have been Jeremy, is there?

Well I can't imagine a hit-man or Jeremy or even Sheila for that matter putting Nevill's pyjama jacket on after he'd died.

What's that got to do with either a hit man/Jeremy 'persuading' him to make a phone call?

Oh dear, have I mentioned something else that you can't answer ?
It's got everything to do with a hitman/Jeremy and even Sheila, allegedly all present at the scene of the crime.

Ask a relevant question and I'll try to answer it. Don't make a career out of asking something which has nothing to do with the point in question. WhoEVER may have encouraged Nevill to make a call, wasn't, at that moment, attempting to A) take his jacket off B) put his jacket on. If you're going to insist that Sheila was strong and angry enough to inflict all those terrible injuries on him, I'm pretty certain she could have put his jacket on him -and come to that, moved him- post mortem. It makes me equally certain that our unknown and non existent hit man could have done the same..................however, my money's on Jeremy.

i think the problem with theory was weather he could of got back in time to phone his girlfriend andthe police.

He hurried back, then dallied telephoning Police. The answering machine was just one more gadget used in an abortive attempt to create an alibi.

Well, we don't actually know what was the time frame, do we. Thus far, all we've done is put out own interpretation on it. Let's imagine that Jeremy has either forced Nevill to call Goldhanger OR Jeremy himself rings Goldhanger. The message machine MAY have picked it up, although it's not necessary for it to have done so because if Jeremy made the call, he wouldn't have left a message. All he needed was for the call to be the last one recorded from WHF. We're assuming that he picked up an alleged call from Nevill around 3am, but we only have his word for the timings. He COULD have committed the crime MUCH earlier and used the extra time to 'debrief' before phoning Julie and the police.

Don't forget the hunchback/hobo, uncle Tom Cobley and probably and possibly the cast of TOWIE (they turn up on everything else!)

It just occurs to me that characters have either been added or had their good names  dragged though s**t because we've managed to demolish the BS which has become part of the case.

It might as well have been that lot as far as " Dad's Army " were concerned.
