I don't really understand the significance of Crispy's location either if you could spell it out once more..

I can only think Nigel was disputing that the BT operative heard Crispy barking. As Crispy may not be heard in a possible locked bedroom. Although there is no evidence both of the main bedroom doors were shut.

Reply 11 dismisses Nigel's theory with 16 reasons.

There is no reason why the police would ask a BT operative to lie. A barking Crispy does not assist a police framing attempt in any way.

Nigel has made an interesting suggestion. I assume he is saying if Crispy was locked in the main bedroom, how could an independent BT operative hear his barking from a downstairs phone ?

This theory falls flat for several reasons -

No one knows where Crispy was when Bamber entered WHF.

Bamber opened the main bedroom door when entering to shoot Nevill & June. Giving Crispy the chance to leave.

Bamber left the main bedroom door open when chasing Nevill into the kitchen. Giving Crispy the chance to leave.

If Crispy left the main bedroom during the massacre, there is no way Bamber could force Crispy back inside.

There is no reason why Bamber would want to lock Crispy in the main bedroom prior to leaving.

There is no reason why Bamber would shut any bedroom doors after completing the massacre. He only had to bang shut the kitchen window.

It may still be possible to hear Crispy in the main bedroom. The house was totally silent as everyone else was dead.

The phone operative  said he/she could only hear a barking dog. If false it highlights an Industrial frame.

The open phone line was open for several hours. Barking may be feint or only heard sporadically from the main bedroom. Even behind closed doors.

The phone line was open for several hours. Crispy moving around WHF barking means the operative would hear him.

There is no reason why a BT operator would join the noble cause corruption and say there were sounds of a barking dog.

Hearing or not hearing a barking dog on an open phone line does not benefit a police frame attempt. So no reason to give false information.

Just because Crispy was found in the main bedroom, does not mean he stayed there all night.

There are two doors in the main bedroom. The crime scene pictures show both doors open.

There are no reports from the raid team about encountering closed bedroom doors.

It is undisputed that Crispy was found alive. So why wouldn't barking be heard over several hours from a probable hyperactive dog in an otherwise silent house ?

perhaps you have some doubt then.....

I slow down for a speeding police car, don't you?

I'm still baffled by June's position in relation to Sheila's.
The door from where June was found was open in the opposite direction to the door where Sheila was ?
Were these pics mirror images ?

They were different doors Lookout.  June was by the door leading to the landing and staircase while Sheila was by the opposite door leading to the box room and the boy's room.
