Why would anyone keep anything which could be seen as being suspicious? However it was/is/will remain an excellent fall-back for supporters who will continue to make this claim. They'd rather believe that somewhere, secreted away, lays positive proof of Jeremy's innocence, rather than accept that any SUCH proof will have been long destroyed.
