Bloody furious! I think it's natural that he would be bitter - guilty or innocent. I don't think there is anything wrong with being bitter but I do find it odd when people try to play that down. I'd be livid!

Peoples approaches to such situations are different Caroline. As JB has said on a number of occasions " what's the use of feeling bitter and angry it only makes you ill " and he's dead right. What he's learned in that environment is how too control such emotions, whereas if he'd been outside with those such emotions they'd have been hyped by the public and the media who seem to go into a panic over nothing. He hasn't had the encouragement to be anything other than calm to enable him to think straight while poring over the myriads of files/documents.

I thought you have written to him Lookout? Believe me, he's not sending any of them a Christmas cards this year! He's STILL scathing of Colin, refers to the police and the relatives as 'c**ts, so please don't try and make him out to be something he isn't. He's bitter Lookout and guilty or innocent - that's perfectly NORMAL!
Few people have the imagination for reality

He’s bitter he got caught, he feels nothing but sympathy for himself, that’s how psychopaths work.

As if we're capable of controlling feelings!!! We'd HAVE to experience them if we're going to make the decision NOT to experience them, and it would be necessary each time the surfaced. I agree there may be no point in 'feeling' certain things, however, it doesn't prevent us from doing so.
