Ainsley can't remember who told him so he could be wrong about the whole thing and is this the same Ainsley who is supposed to have been the chief fitter upper?  ::)

why did he mention it in the first somebody must of told him they used the phone.

I have just said where he got it from, he said he saw 'a document' from the CT, he couldn't remember what it was  and didn't have time to look and that I should contact the CT. My question was in relation to Sheila's print on the shotgun. Personally, I don't think he lied, I just don't think the book is very well researched and there is perhaps too uch relience on the CT. But that's just my opinion.

I'm talking about Ainsley.

He must have either got that information from someone and if so who? Or he made it up and if so why?

The CT did not exist back then, JB was not even convicted at that point.

I can think of reason ainsly might of made but its probably not very likely.

iif there was a call was made to the station from whf he might of thought that to be the most convienant explanation.

I was talking about Lomax. As far as I can see, the document mentions a landline, not that it was used or that it was from WHF - people here always go off half cocked, maybe he did? Like I said before, is this the same Ainsley that framed everyone? Think he's have been a bit more careful than that if there was something dodgy in it.

Only if the next sentence is "and they all lived happily ever after"!

Show me a document that PROVES someone used the phone at WHF and the last number dialed was the police station?

And the only logical argument that I can come up with is that it didn't happen because none of the documents support it.
