The App is amazing Roch, you can download tiles for just the area you are walking in, or you can download whole national parks, I’ve got Lake District, Peak District new Forest, etc and you can download walks for the area as well it’s in Ordanance survey, either 1/25000 or 1/50000

I might try it next time we're somwhere remote. The last time we got lost it was up on the hills near pooley bridge in the lakes. It's exhausting trapsing through bogs in the mist!

Yes, Battle of Prestonpans... Jacobite Rebellion.  Used to be a mining area (after the rebellion!). That's all I know, sorry... enjoy.
