He appeared to favour them generally - he decided they should get all the dosh, and not Nevill's relatives.

No he didn't, he sought a court ruling.

I wonder if he too got a prezzie like the police did after the verdict ? Was he also present at the " knees-up " with the other crony, McKenzie ?

You asked -no, actually, you "supposed"- that job hopping indicated that Jeremy was a killer. Following that line are you now going to "suppose" that being present at a "knees up" made everyone a liar?

Are you sure? I get the impression that AP and his sister had to sue.

Hmm. So "he appeared to............" did he? And you know for a fact that sets it in stone? Funny that you can't apply the same rule to Jeremy's detractors. Actually, he didn't have the authority to allocate "dosh".

The Pargeters questioned the ruling. It was then settled out of court.

Basil did not have the authority to decide who inherited.

How come AP and his sister had to sue to get their share then? He was the executor so he had a lot of authority, although he didn't have the right to let anyone take stuff from the farm.

Where is the evidence of this ruling? I haven't seen anything about it.

There's a document on here where Basil says he needs to seek a decision. I'll dig it out.

You discussed it a few weeks ago on the forum.

They didn't sue him personally. They hadn't been named in the will and he certainly didn't have the authority to hand out vast amounts of money. As for people taking things from the farm, I believe Jeremy did. Those things which the relatives were accused of taking from the farm, according to a WS I read yesterday, they were placed into a locked cupboard at WHF for safe keeping.

Apart from the foil which David B took and destroyed of course.

What is this document?

The tin foil was lodged in the safe, not in a cupboard, which I believe had been fitted with a padlock to facilitate. I have no idea what the document is.

It shows that AP and his sister are the plaintiffs, and that Basic Cock is one of the people being sued.

This will be the £10,000 that was nearly fleeced from AP and his sister.
