He did think about death duties though as he'd started to sell articles from the farmhouse to meet costs such as the funerals,flowers,refreshments,etc which would all normally come from the estate.

He was certainly selling off all the objets d'art he could lay his hands on, but I find myself curious as too just how much found it's way into the funeral/flowers/refreshments at Bourtree -THAT would hardly have broken the bank!!!-/death duties account, and how much went into Jeremy's personal "ME TIME" fund?
It also occurs to me to wonder WHY it is that poor Jeremy would only have ended up with a pittance, "not worth getting out of bed for" I believe you once said, after expenses and death duties, yet the nasty, greedy relatives, inheriting the same amount of money, were getting themselves a fortune?
