Sorry, didn't see the question the first time. Were they the same swabs? I don't see why they wouldn't be, because to provide a second set, they would need access to her body and permission from the morgue but of course I can't say they were 100% the same ones.

Could the delay in resending them cause some degradation of any substances on them?

I doubt it, they would have been sealed in an evidence bag.

Is it possible that they were different swabs? I don't know how long the body would have been available to take more swabs though.

The back of one of Sheila's hand had blood on.

The palms, fingers & nails were clean of any blood, residue, dirt, oil & lubricant.

Adam please go and read the Hand written report made by Peter Van ezis and you will see he disagrees with you.

Once the body was at the morgue - I'd have thought the police would need permission to take more swabs and permission leads to records. There is nothing to suggest that a second set were taken.

Yes, perhaps it is unlikely then.

However, if the people at the forensic were worried about contamination of sealed bags from another article, doesn't that suggest that swabs in sealed bags are not totally impervious to degradation of some kind?

Well, I guess there has to be 'some' risk of contamination but I'd have thought the risk would be more to the bag than the item inside it.

So hand swaps in a bag should always be sent separately?

I imagine so, but I'm not an expert. It makes sense that they are bagged separately given that it is surely important to determine left and right?

What I have noticed on this forum is supporters are really determined.

Pages of evidence from the court of appeal was fire fighted today with grit,  determination & a refusal to accept pages from a primary source.

On the other hand, there are less than a dozen of these determined supporters that post regulary on here. Such as once a week. The CT stay well clear & focus on new things that look good in the media. While Bamber wanted the forum shut down.

If the forum had thousands of these determined supporters posting every week protesting Bamber's innocence, rather than 5 or 6,  that would be more impressive.

What is not impressive is the forum was created as a pro Bamber forum. But now is filled with guilters.

Why did Jeremy want the forum shut down?

I think it's fine that some people on here think that Jeremy is guilty - if everyone thought the same way there wouldn't be much to discuss.

I suspect because there's vast amount here which is HUGELY detrimental to his cause. Probably as much from supporters as detractors.

Because he/the CT cannot control what is posted here.
