Bamber was not a dog hater. He had a dog called Brambles who he was fond of.

However he wanted nothing to do with Crispy.

when did Bamber get Brambles

What's the back story on Brambles

What happened to Brambles

What does Bamber recall of his memories of Bramble - where's his blog of Bramble

What do you think IS a kit-car if not a "road worthy" one?

Crispy's history as I understand it. A dog not universally liked. Of indifferent temperament. Given to nipping ankles. Old, smelly, grumpy.

I don't know much about Brambles. It is just referred to in the police interviews.

There was no chance of Bamber taking in Crispy. He had too many holidays planned.

Bamber didn't shoot or attempt to shoot Crispy, as he was an inheritance killer. Crispy was about to put down or given to another family.

Bamber hitting a moving target like Crispy would also highlight Sheila's impressive rifle co ordination which no one knew she had.

However as mentioned it is very surprising an aggatated Sheila didn't fire at a hyperactive dog. The twins & June were not exactly hyperactive & she shot them 15 times.

Don't know if that assessment covers them all, but, at the time it was de rigueur for young blades to roar around in kit cars.

Criminally minded/criminally versatile - weed cultivation and supply of a controlled substance

Blatant disregard for the feelings of others - burglary and robbing from his own family

Promiscuity - numerous short term relationships, one night stands, relationships with men, cheating on    partners

 Grandiose sense of himself

Grandiose sense of entitlement - as evidence re his obsession with money

Blatant disregard for the safety of others

 Anti social behaviour

 Animal cruelty

 Smear campaigns

 Glib, superficial charm

Crispy's history.

Yes.

I wonder how many other canines are discussed some 32 years after their passing.

Crispy must be, or have been, a popular name for a dog as coincidentally that was the name of Simon Halls victims dog  :(

It's in Julie's statement somewhere. Bamber was evidently taking his mind off the carnage he had created by focussing on the spoils of murder.

Yes, but when was he discussing the car? Before the bodies were found?

It's here: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=zV3WCwAAQBAJ&pg=PA170&lpg=PA170&dq=jeremy+bamber+pc+lay&source=bl&ots=jQz_L0BdvW&sig=F6NS_8gn1igNBhqSjWlh6N9nG2w&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi59eeOyfrWAhWCzBoKHWrsCSUQ6AEIXDAN#v=onepage&q=jeremy%20bamber%20pc%20lay&f=false

It's interesting that it appears to have been Bews who ordered the ambulances -not a 999 call at 6.09 from inside the house- and the £3,800 Porche kit car was allegedly going to be a present from Nevill. It seems I have to reread the book.
