So Sheila was hospitalized for no reason whatsoever? Sheila decided to 'play act' her breakdowns? Sheila was never mentally ill? All done to satisfy June?

Twaddle !
It wasn't all about " satisfying June " at all, even though Sheila must have tried her best. In one book,it states that while Sheila had been recouperating at WHF at one time, that her mother told her " you don't know what it's like to be ill ". What are we to make of that ?
It stands to sense that Sheila had been hospitalised because of severe depression----------just think why ?? Lost babies and a mother who offered no sympathy, even went against Sheila's wishes to have an abortion,c'mon, wouldn't you be ill ?

The bible must be the most obvious framing attempt plant in criminal history.

As if Sheila would be psychotic enough to violently kill everyone & brutally beat Nevill.

Then be able to calm herself down enough to go and read the bible. Leaving it on her arm after the second shot.

It is rather theatrical, I agree. That's why I've taken such an interest in it.

This opening of the Bible, shutting it, and opening it again is very odd whichever way you look at it. It got blood on it at some stage but when? Whether it was Jeremy or Sheila who shot everyone, why go to the trouble of opening the Bible at the same page when it had been closed either deliberately or by accident? I don't know if there was blood on other pages though - separate stains to the ones we can see.

If Sheila was so religious to seek out a bible prior to killing herself & just after murdering 4 people, surely she would have her own bible. Rather than looking for the bible of a woman she had just shot 7 times.

Kaldin,if you take a look in the archives at the case-related photographs you'll get a better picture of the actual " movements " of both the rifle and the Bible, along with Sheila's position generally, particularly that right arm.

Yes, but I also think that it's very theatrical for Jeremy to place a Bible either on her or next to her. It makes no sense either way. Added to that, the blood stains don't make sense. I feel this issue is of importance, but there's something about it which hasn't clicked yet.

Yes, I've looked at those lookout - I've been discussing the movement of the rifle in this thread. I also feel that the Bible moved at some point, but I can't work out when or in what way.

I think the police admitted moving her right hand to photograph the blood on her nightdress, but the rest doesn't make sense.

Whichever way you look at it,it doesn't give you a truer picture of the exact locations when first entering the scene of the crime. I feel this very strongly, especially with the rifle.

I wonder who heard June say those words. I've never denied Sheila's illness it's possible June may have- NOR do I suspect there wasn't at least, a little jealousy/anger on June's part, that would undoubtedly have caused her some guilt, over Sheila's ability to conceive.

It makes sense for Bamber to do it. He was attempting a frame.

If the fostering conversation story didn't work, he could claim Sheila had a religious meltdown.  Or ideally he would say it was a combination.

It would be a very clumsy attempt to frame Sheila, and completely unnecessary. She already had two bullet wounds in her neck, and a rifle on her body. Why would he need anything else? He didn't need to say she had a religious meltdown, it was enough that she had schizophrenia.
