The Chief Constable regrets to inform you of the sad death of our former colleague Brian Targrass who retired as an Inspector in 1993 and served at Grays, Clacton, Braintree, Basildon, Billericay, Chelmsford, Harlow, & Child Abuse. He passed away on the 25th March 2017 aged 73 years. He leaves a widow Mandy.

The funeral service will take place at 14.00 hrs., on Wednesday 26th April 2017 at Chelmsford Crematorium.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to ‘Cancer Research’ c/o Co-op Funeral Services, 78 Broomfield Road, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 1SS.

They are getting older Jackie.  Brian Targrass had a direct link to the first hour of the case.  He would have known the specific reasons why arms were drawn regarding a 'shooting incident'.

You're busy today Roch.

I suppose it deflects from you yesterday saying it's 'not you're job' to think of what motivated Ainsley to (100%) hide evidence that Sheila was the killer.

Or say Sheila was 'definately the killer' but you 'can't explain' Nevill's phone calls.

I bet you would. All threads go off topic. Wasn't it you who brought up Jeremy Kyle this week ?

Anyway what has Targrass supposed to have done ? Don't worry I won't ask for evidence or why ?

Point taken. 

He was involved in discussions with Chief Supt. Harris, regarding the release of firearms (in relation to what Targrass described as a 'shooting incident').  The discussion seems to have taken place prior to any situation report from CA7 at the scene.
