Nugs,there's not a lot,if any,evidence which does back up many of her claims.For instance the £40,000 drug debt that she mentions,which allegedly Sheila had owed,so I'd take what she wrote with a bucket of salt rather than a pinch.

Way to go,nugs as books are never a reliable source of information,especially when penned about murders and such. Come to that,neither are newspapers.

I think we have to accept that publications -especially newspapers- are often more concerned with numbers sold, than the truth they contain. We KNOW the more titillating/salacious the piece, the more copies sold. Such is the taste of much of the British public. I have long questioned what CP wrote because she provided information which could only have come from those in the Bamber family who were dead well before she wrote her book.

And this is just it Jane. I've said before, in some ways I was fortunate SH wasn't in contact with the amount of people Bamber is/was. It didn't take me 30 plus years to find out who was responsible for all the misinformation. The reasons why there were so public feuds is in the main because SH was orchestrating it.

Why hasn't Bamber ever publicly denied it? Maybe he enjoys the attention it brings him.

I imagine that he's been able to make use of his prestigious background/education and make it work in his favour. He's possibly become a highly successful prisoner, almost to the point of making it a profession. As long as there are those he can manipulate, does it REALLY matter to him what the general public think? I guess anything which keeps him in the public's awareness works.
