It is a judge's duty to confront deep-seated psychological and personal issues when a crime as extreme as this was was committed. This to my knowledge was NEVER done as I don't expect Sheila's notes saw daylight during the trial. It was easier to point a finger at Jeremy.

Sheila's background as well as Jeremy's should have been studied to see if there'd been an indicator of her erratic behaviour and the circumstances which brought about her mental health issues because they don't happen overnight. There was far more evidence to Sheila's uncertain and unbalanced background than there is to Jeremy's. The law is an ass and it's so unfair.

No one is denying Sheila's mental frailty, but such doesn't make her a murderer.

I know with certainty, that whilst such illness CAN lead to terrible tragedies, it ISN'T a given and the VAST majority DON'T. You are the only one who insists that it is so on the grounds that you'll do anything to have Jeremy exonerated, even to point a n accusing finger at June.

It's gotten worse over recent years - 'side show' springs to mind. He's really only selling snake oil but manages to still mesmerise from the side lines!

Side show seems a good explanation for the CT. It's all about attention and being seen as close to Jeremy as if that's something to boast about.

NO!!! Most certainly NOT. I'm not the one who can only see in terms of black or white.

So why do you think that those with mental health issues go on to murder ? What do you think their reasons are for doing so ?

Funny how you're reluctant to talk about all those who daily live with mental illness and NEVER "go on to   murder".

Plenty of people suffer from mental issues and brain illnesses and don't go on to murder or harm themselves or other people. You're stigmatising a hell of a lot of people to make a poor point.

good point mat,my mates brother has had serious mental health problems for over 30yrs including hearing voices and he has never harmed anyone or himself in all that time,he just lives in a world of his own :)
