The point I was making, Lookout, was that the rabbits occurred around dusk. It's not impossible that the boys would still have been up at that time, making it very unlikely that Jeremy would have put the gun on the table. It would have made four adults present, one of whom would most certainly have removed it A) If the children had been there and B) Because even if they weren't, the table needed to be laid for supper.

Didn't Jeremy go outside not long before he left,which would have been roughly about 9.30pm ? I'd imagine that the twins would have been in bed ? After that,there'd have been plenty of time to have laid the table for next morning.

To the best of my knowledge, it was dusk. Bunnies go bye-byes at night. When Jeremy left, the family was seated around the table. There was unlikely to have been a gun on it.

Were you surprised Bamber loaded a rifle and went outside to shoot rabbits ? He had not lived at WHF for a long time.

He had just worked a 14 hour day and you said Bamber was the laziest man alive.

I think that there was so much of a to-do going on that Jeremy just hung around before he said his goodbyes and to kill time ( pun ) he ventured outside with the rifle possibly trying to gain attention from his father that he was going to actually shoot something for once instead of being the wimp and hapless son that his father had thought he was. There's a difference between " target-practice " and killing something which was living.
Even though Jeremy had gone on the odd shoot,it wasn't known whether he'd ever joined in with the actual shooting.

Bamber isn't demanding more tests. And hasn't for years. There is nothing left to test.

He requested tests several years after conviction after being repeatedly told Sheila did not shoot herself. The results were poor.

Demanding tests also keeps him in the media and keeps his supporters optimistic.

well if he used the silencer he would having somthing to fear from retesting the retesting could possbly prove his guilt beyound any doubt.

thats true but that but if he dident use the silencer then the silencer must of been planted. by the family and that would rather descredit anything else they said in evedence agianst him.

he could of possble done it without the silncer but as the silencer was the main plank of the proscution case the conviction would still be unsafe and warrant a retrial.

Julie's evidence was also a major part. However, I doubt they could prove whether the silencer was used or not. For every expert that suggested it wasn't, I'm sure there would be another to say it was and with none of the blood from the silencer left - it would be difficult to disprove it unless someone came forward to say it was faked.

it see them get it to court without the silencer i mean you cant count on a jilted girlfriend to sway a jury to convict.
