She isn't the sum total of one picture. She was on the way to making a real mess of her life - but she turned it around. . Good luck to her I say.
It's my personal opinion there is no redemption for Julie, either she was part of a murder plot to kill 5 people

Or she lied and an innocent person person has spent 30 years in prison

And she knows 'exactly' when she signed that NOTW deal so the lies continue

That double page spread in the NOTW defines who she is

You clearly think so, so they are your facts. He ain't my cup of tea but each to their own.

Are you saying that's not how the newspapers described him?

Are you saying girls didn't throw themselves at Jeremy

As you know, Jackie, I really have little time for the person Julie was. She was as you say, in her 20's a rather silly girl. The NOTW MAY have defined who she was then, but 30 years on, as a rather matronly and formidable figure, she has certainly turned her life around in a way that can only be considered good. She works very hard for the community and has a happy and settled family life. She has clearly worked hard to get where she is.

Where did you hear she has a happy settled life?
I'm very interested ?

Not exactly enough to be a detailed statistic, I know, but of the 8 out of my 12 neighbours that I was with this morning, three had been personal friends of the Bambers, one had worked for the psychiatrist who first examined him, and lastly. I, whose links are more tenuous. Of those 5, only one person had doubts about his conviction. It occurs to me that our views may be a reflection of how of the rest of society is divided.
