They were before further info had been gathered, besides one attempt having been scuppered.

I seem to recall that in every previous attempt it was claimed they had "new info."

New brooms this time as well as ultra-new info, such as that which had been inadvertantly slipped in amongst the docs. which had been requested by JB from EP.
One man on his own, namely,Simon McKay couldn't possibly have achieved what the numbers presently can, although he did well. There's always safety in numbers 4th time around,is it ?

Not necessarily. Hope is,or can be a powerful word, especially to those who are suffering illness, etc. They live in hope of a cure or some respite.
Not to have hope is sad.

Whatever her sources,I imagine that if she's studied the case in-depth and in order to get the proper information, then the sources of her information shouldn't be that far from her mind to write as near as dammit,an accurate recollection.

I was talking about Bews for example he changes his mind like his socks. He is only one .

I thought that is what notebooks are for - in fact they are the Original source  ;D  So I don't think it is right that relevant bits of information can be added or taken away later .

I would imagine that most of the time, it's not convenient to stand there taking notes and most write events up later when it is convenient.
Few people have the imagination for reality

Yes I am aware of that but they would be written up ASAP . Where as a lot of the statements were not written until Sept. I would just like to compare them with the statements

No excuse for original notebooks not to have been given. Why rewrite and rewrite logs etc  what was the purpose of that?

That wasn't on at all. Everything should be entered as it happened and how the scene was found. Without the need for alterations etc,or embellishments. Dated and timed. No copies no editing.
This was a murder scene, not a practice-----------it was for real.
