Huh? Why would he waste time trying to convince him, it was going to be in the press the following day. Clon didn't say that DB tried to convince him but he was obviously aware that the family didn't like Jeremy. What could he fish from Colin? The family were the ones in the know.

well he coulent know for sure but he would know that under the cercumstances there had to have been some conversations bettween jeremy and colin and jeremy was more likely to tell colin what his plans were than any of the relatives.
