Very if they're describing the same thing! Not sure what you're getting at Nugs? Firstly you say you would be inclined to believe Colin, not you're questioning what he said! It's in his statement or are you suggesting he must be lying?

Colin said it both in his book and in his statement - and? I posted the extract from the book, his statement is available for you to read. What more do you want?

  That is a good point nugs. It all seems so unlikely and rests on so little "evidence" that the whole claim can be regarded as highly unlikely.
    It is hard to believe that this is such an article of faith amongst many who believe JB guilty.

Colin said he used the exact words in the article. In order to know for SURE, we would have to try and get a copy.

I'm trying to get my head round why this would matter. Jeremy had already said the words to Colin which is why he -Colin- was able to recognize the words Fielder attributed to Jeremy were the same words Jeremy had used previously, to him. IMO, the expression Fielder used in the, much later, documentary is neither here nor there..................although it's my experience that I tend to use words and expression that I've previously put in writing.

That's it in a nutshell April BUT, it all looks bad on Jeremy so it has to be played down or dismissed altogether. However, it can't be dismissed because it's Colin who is making the claim and not Fielder. Some people will still try and play it down or even go so far as to try and discredit Colin but it's just denial and kind of shows that people aren't interested in the truth, just interested in Jeremy being innocent - at whatever cost.

You've lost me. Colin's book was written in the 1990's how could Fielder see it? (unless he had a time machine?). Colin's statement (however), was written a few days after the Sun article. Colin mentions in the statement that Fielder documented what Jeremy told him at the meeting 'You see everything right down to the last detail'. These words were also used to describe the pictures by Jeremy to Colin on 7th September. It's easy enough to understand!
