It was always Bamber's plan to phone the police.

Then spend several hours insinuating Sheila and acting concerned. It worked for a few weeks.

If the first shot did not kill her, having to fire a second shot would not make him deviate from his plan. He could say the rifle was weak. And he would be right.

Fake robberies and random stranger massacres are terrible ideas. Bamber would soon be the number one suspect and he couldn't insinuate Sheila.

Unless he intended to confess, WHY would he want to say the rifle was weak? "Duh, sorry PC Plod. I couldn't manage to do it with one shot coz the rifle was weak"!!!!! Are you aware of the saying "A bad workman always blames his tools"?

Helping.

Well you certainly did that, you helped, further confirm my thoughts that Jeremy is guilty.  ;D 8)

Actually I agree Adam, he did actually suggest that the dog could have been responsible for the second shot, I guess he just didn't think it through.

Bambers claim is that Sheila shot herself twice.

So why shouldn't a murderer need two shots ?

Does this mean that you're no longer undecided?

I tend to wobble a bit. Most days I think Jeremy is innocent, but there are instances where I think that perhaps he did it.
Not much has changed, really.

Bamber's plan was the best one. Just because he ended up in jail does not mean there were better options.

To actually murder five people and engineer a successful frame is very difficult. It would always come go back to the sole person who was going to inherit. Money talks. Especially a lot of money.

Do you think he's innocent because you do not believe he would attempt the murder/suicide frame after shooting Sheila twice ?

That is what you mention most.

What DO you think happened on your "Jeremy is innocent" days?

According to Jeremy eh?  ;D ;D ;D ;D Well, glad that's cleared that up and here's me thinking he might have a vested interest in blaming Sheila. I guess I'm just far too cynical!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Well both Colin and Freddie hinted at this as well, so it was not entirely according to Bamber.

perhaps there were no better options- because he did not do it?

As we asked you before where was Jeremy positioned when he shot her twice and how did he persuade her just to sit there or lie there without instinctively putting her hands out to stop the shots or turn her head away.
