Why did the police frame Jeremy ?
« on: January 09, 2015, 04:19:PM »
The Official Site says the police framed Bamber (one month later) because they were trying to hide the fact that they did not notice Sheila's walkabout.

Considering Bamber was quite content with the murder/suicide theory, I am not sure who was going to grass on the police. But anyway.

It is now being said that Bamber has no control over the OS. So this reason may be totally wrong.

So why did the police attempt to frame him ? Jeremy's reason please.  Surely they did not cave in to pressure from AE and RB.

The answer to this is REALLY OBVIOUS! They thought he was guilty but didn't think they had enough evidence to convict him. Even WITH the silencer and JM's testimony, Stan Jones still wasn't confident they would get the go ahead from the CPS.

If they believed him guilty, they must have followed the evidence. So why the need to frame ? If they lose at court, they lose.

Do you believe the relatives gave the police a silencer with nothing on ?

Then the police  instructed the lab technicians to expertly put incriminating blood in the silencer ?

That is quite possibly the most naive sentence I have ever read on here.

In answer to your question 'no' I don't believe that.

Nothing naive about it. The police lose in court all the time.

Yes and No. Had Jeremy been the killer, and knowing the possibility of blood being within the silencer,it would have only taken him minutes to dismantle it and clean it out before returning it to the cupboard.
If Sheila had tried to use it,or one of them, whichever was the one with damage on it,then because she was already downstairs and before she'd realised it was too cumbersome, very likely put it back, though I wouldn't have said it was the one which was " found ".

Why are you asking Caroline the same question over and over again. She has made her position very clear about this on many occasion.

She is one of three posters who have changed stance and now believes Bamber is guilty. But believes the silencer was not used by him.

However she has said she does not believe the police instructed the lab technicians to expertly put blood on the silencer. However she has never said the relatives have.

So no, she had not made her position clear.
