April 1,  Thankyou for your supportive comment on my somewhat facetious post.
If I were competent in IT, I would have highlighted Steve's caveat:-   'AS FAR AS I CAN SEE' !

My dear Campion, how could I fail to respond to such delightful naughtiness. I enjoy your style and your facetiousness amuses me.

Many thanks, April & Look-out for your kind accolade.

Mr Lugg and your lascivious and lush Lady Susan, I was minded in these matters, by the Jethro Tull epic tale of the 'Back of the 'Bus' - some wag wrote in the dirt on the rear  ' This vehicle has been cleaned by Stevie Wonder'.

This put me in mind of Steve's puritannical appraisal of Mugford's 24 page derisory Witness Statement.

I fear that Steve's world exists in terms of black or white which I find hugely restricting. My world is all about shades of grey which allows for more fluid thought processes and make possible forgiveness for myself and others..........it also makes it possible for me to admit I'm not a saint ;D ;D ;D

Julie's 24 page statement is out there for all to read, just as I've had to trawl through Jeremy's on numerous occasions when he can't even answer a question about whether a canopy was on the tractor or not..

Which to my mind at any rate means that if he did murder his family then it must have been unpremeditated? But much more likely that he had not prepared an alibi. To which the only conclusion that I personally can come to is that he didn't do it?

Roch, thankyou for your imput with the portrait of the Lug family.
I was wondering if there was some connotation from Cockney rhyming slang. Maybe XiLi can help here?

What other alibi could he have prepared, apart from the Police being the alibi. I'm afraid the canopy on the tractor brought back an unwelcome flashback of the innocent hands of the twins attempting to manipulate the gearbox, the destruction of whom was a wicked and cruel adjunct to his evil plan.
