Bamber already had a car, but after the massacre spoke a lot about what car he was going buy.  He was also keen on buying a jet ski.

Liz Rimmington testified she saw a lot of brochures for a Porsche at his cottage.

What a kind man he was it appears. Would you condemn a person who gives gifts? He could easily have sold it and Ralph's car as well and made a bit of money for himself. Brett was here for the long haul jolly up if Bamber remained free. Travelling around England and Europe with Bamber over a month long period.  He had no businesses to go back to.

If Brett were to abandon the jolly up, Bamber would let him keep the car.  Unless a second hand Citroen was worth something.

Good point. He agreed with MM's testimony, which as you read was very damning. But also testified that people saying bad things about him had been brain washed by the media portrayal of him.

Witnesses were taking a risk. Lying under oath just because the papers said horrible things about him. I would tell the truth under oath. There is no reason to lie and risk perjury charges.
