What evidence! that was false information how on earth can you prove Jeremy told mugford that when it was false information.
I want some information mugford told the police Jeremy told her that turned out to be true

Answer my question please it couldn't be any plainer she could have told the police it was bloody Michael Jackson if you call that the truth

She told the police that Mcdonald did it. Jeremy told the police it was Sheila. Anyone can see it wasn't Sheila, so who did it Jackie?

I think Mcdonald needs to be investigated, don't you?

The police could not find any holes in McDonald's alibi at the time or they would have charged him with the murders and put him on trial alongside Jeremy Bamber. I haven't seen any grounds which suggest that McDonald's alibi was false. What grounds do you suggest destroy McDonald's alibi?

I personally think youd be hard pushed to find a hit man willing to murder two little boys for the sum of 2k even back in the 80s. It has been stated that one of the boys was shot in such an unecessarily violent way that it was perpetrated by someone with a hatred for the children or by someone with diminished responsibility.

So that's it the Paul you had better tell the ccrc it's McDonald then if you are so sure.  You will have to do much better than that to convince everyone on here.  I suppose mcdonald has run off to Canada or Australia incase people found out he was lying too.

I want a piece of evidence that mugford told the police that proved jeremy carried out the murders!

There must of been something that convinced bob miller mugford was telling the truth or surely as an experienced police officer he would know she was an accomplished liar because of the cheque fraud

Paul there had to be one piece of evidence

We could play this game all day

Think when it comes down to it there isnt any clear cut evidence that what Jeremy told Julie was true, at the end of the day its her word against his and the jury saw something in her that made them believe her!

I think shes a despicable huma being who has profited from the deaths of 5 people but it doesnt mean shes a liar!

Now i dont think for one minute Sheila carried out those murders (well not today anyway) so if Julie is lying about the hitman theory then in my eyes the only other explanation is that JB did the deed himself!

But the point is Julie Mugfords evidence probably convicted Jeremy but who would have believed her if they knew there was a bonus for her of twenty five thousand what kind of fair trial was that.

Two people were going to be very wealthy if Jeremy was convicted of murder

Julie mugford got probably a hundred thousand pounds if not more if you look at what it is worth today she quite successfully upped her game from the cheque fraud

Does anyone here believe she was telling the truth and could anyone give me a sensible reason why they believe she was telling the truth when she admitted to lieing before.
I think we should have a Julie mugford poll on here lieing or not lieing with the reasons if people think she was telling the truth

I dont think she was lying, think she kept quiet thinking she was going to be in the money and her and JB would be living the high life but once he dumped her she squeled!

Point is there is no evidence about who said what! its her word against his, the jury believed her!

Wasnt it a newspaper that paid out?

If Essex police did not carry out a thorough investigation of the murders at WHF then McDonald's alibi may not have been investigated properly. It would be much harder to have got a conviction with both of them in the dock. Essex police went with the easiest conviction in my honest opinion.

I would like to know, What is McDonald doing now? Did he have any history of violence? Has he committed any violent crime since?

I am of the same opinion here Simon.  A alibi which looks too good is sometimes suspect.  If this guy was planning to do what he did wouldn't he have made sure that he had a bullet-proof (sorry about the pun) alibi.

What possible alibi could someone have for 3am in the morning unless they were proven to be hundreds of miles from the scene.  What was the alibi anyway, isn't a bit strange that nobody seems to know??   >:(

Liars have a remarkable history of telling the truth when their own necks are on the line.  I have no doubt whatsoever that Julie Mugford knew what she was talking about.  She gave a huge number of statements and was consistent where it counted. Once the police and the Crown had offered her a deal she knew she was quids in and wouldn't be prosecuted for conspiracy as long as she testified.

Once that was in the bag she just opened up and didn't stop talking.

Andrea what makes you think  Julie mugford is telling the truth?
I am being very kind to her by saying she lied because she couldn't bear the thought of Jeremy being with anyone else.  Remember he was really popular before he had the latest inheritance imagine how much more popular he would have been as a wealthy young man in his own right it probably was more than she could bear remember she tried to smother him with a pillow that is not normal behaviour.  I have had friends that have been jealous but not to that degree.

The other alternative to me being kind to Julie mugford  is she knew about the murders before they happened she knew the night they were going to happen and she knew the day after.  What did she do when allegedly Jeremy was laughing about the murders and what a good actor he was I'll tell what I think she was probably doing planning the next holiday.  I would like to know the incident where allegedly Jeremy laughed was that the same day she volunteered to identify the bodies.
Andrea would it have made any difference to you if you were on that jury but knew about the twenty five thousand pound
I am being very kind to her saying she lied about Jeremy because if you believe her she is evil beyond belief yet blatantly picked up twenty five thousand pounds

Yeh evil beyond belief but does not mean shes a liar!

Women do all sorts of bonkers things when they are infatuated (yes even sleeping with a man they knew was behind the murders of his family)

Personally it wouldnt have swayed my opinion if id known she was going to make money from appearing in court.

Jackie you keep asking for proof that these conversations took place but as things are its upto Jeremy to prove that they DIDNT, Julie wasnt on trial he was!
