well ive had a lot of people say the police wouldn't fit someone up they were innocent ut the facts don't bear this out.

I would agree that, as they have targets to meet, backs to cover and pensions to protect, SOME might, but I doubt they'd deliberately frame an innocent man when there was a ready made culprit that wasn't going to cost tax payers squillions for a trial.

They didn't need a suspect in the WHF massacre. It was murder/suicide.

That's why I found the Dickinson report interesting. The pressure the family inflicted on that police force was unremitting and for some reason went right to the top.  I just get the feeling ( not sure why) that had something to do with it.

I have heard that Ann Eaton had big connections in the Essex criminal underworld. The Essex police caved in.

Again,Susan, thought isn't good enough when the life of someone hangs in the balance. Even the judge saying either Sheila or Jeremy, was pretty naff when one of them was dead.
If EP had done their job properly from the start and dug deep for the evidence of a killer, then fair play, but they didn't,and were highly influenced by people who DIDN'T know the family.Very unfair.

Morning lookout  I do agree with you the investigation left much to be desired and he should have a retrial.
