New shot guns are quite expensive. I just did some research.

Jeremy probably decided why pay when there is a rifle available for free. He probably sussed AE & her husband out to see if they could get him a big reduction.

Jeremy asked about the shotgun BEFORE Nevill bought the rifle - the rifle was instead of the shotgun.

All those little drops of blood on the bedroom carpet, could someone have been injured by the shotgun, asit would be like a colander with all the shot.? Just wondering, seeing that none of us saw the actual injuries on June or Neville.
I've always wondered about the blood " spots " as opposed to blood pouring out of a wound, though I'd put the spotting down to the movement by the police,of the top carpet. The bodies would have had to have been moved anyway to lift it up. So why didn't EP say so instead of denying they moved anything or anyone.?
The proof of that is in one of the pics which shows a rolled up large rug ready to be taken outside for burning.

I think the autopsy's would have mentioned if anyone had been shot with a shotgun.

I don't think the police would have power to change an autopsy report . And why would they, they still could have said Jeremy or Sheila had used a shot gun as well?

Of course they wouldn't and there would be no point in doing so.

To be fair,if a shotgun had been used at such close range, the victims would have been a terrible mess. Sorry to be so graphic.

It is doubtful Neville had a five bore shot gun. Jeremy trying to massacre everyone with a two bore shot gun is risky.
