There was plenty of time to adulterate the silencer with other blood. Don't believe all that hyped up rubbish about not having the knowledge to plant blood in it.

I'm afraid I don't believe anything that either the prosecution or the relatives had to say. The influence stank !

totally agree - Any farming person who handles guns cleans them , including the inside . So all that rubbish bout not knowing about blood inside the moderator is rubbish.

I am not saying that's what happened ( just to make it clear ::)) but to say things are impossible when they most obviously are not is to blur the possible truth.

The jury should have realised all that anyway as the trial was held locally as opposed to London .
Farming communities ?

it does seem surprising that it was not held in London

Those gouge marks on Nevill's arm do seem strange for what was allegedly a non-contact crime. I was wondering if they were possibly made by the false nails left in Sheila's sponge bag(whether Jeremy retrieved them from there along with the tampon is impossible to say). What goes against it being Sheila is the state of her hands and of course her composed look devoid of any beads of sweat or exertion.

Oh Steve-------really. Jeremy using the false nails ? Unless he'd had them adhered to his own nails,he wouldn't have managed the row of gouges ( pattern )
Besides that, there's been nothing said about forensically testing the false nails for blood/skin particles or any debris from the action of them.
The tampons were downstairs on a table/sideboard.
Sheilas' right hand was mucky and had blood inside the palm. Soot from the rifle ? I'd say so.

Steve, false nails feel very strange at first, even to a woman who is used to having long nails. Save going to the bother of raiding Sheila's make up bag -and why would he- to see if she had any "spares" how would he guess she had any. Once he'd found them -and short of actually applying them- he'd have had to find somewhere to put it whilst he was shooting and then locate it to make it look as if Sheila had made the gouge marks. It seems to me that it would have been more trouble than  it was worth.

Contrary to Sheilas' nails having remained perfect,is a big fib. A false one had come off and the others weren't exactly perfect as some were jagged. Presumably on her right hand.
Part of her toenail was also missing, and if it tore off, there'd have been blood from that too,as looking at the pics of her feet, her toenails were longer than they should comfortably have been. That toenail was found in the kitchen where she must have received a hard bang to remove the nail,so hurtling around would have caused that.

The first official line in the 24 hours was that the killer hadn't left the building alive.

Does this signify Sheila never stepped into the twins room, did Jeremy creep as stealthily therein on that fateful evening as he did on the occasion of being accompanied round the White House by Ann Eaton a few days following these ghastly events,or was there indeed a more sinister explanation as the mother released all those years of tension in one terrible nocturnal episode, this being only an interlude to her final act of destruction as she came to understand that last week that all was hopeless as she sank into a paroxysm of despair.

I think we will never know.

Your posts are so poetic that I feel bad for saying what I am going to say; but any beads of sweat or tears would possibly have dried up by the time the photos were taken. Her composed look is there though, and that puzzles me.

Yes it is,and leaving Mike's photos aside for a moment, the one showing what looks like fresh blood running from Sheila's mouth is devastating enough, and may well have swayed one more juror had it been shown to them at the trial.

I've seen people who have died in pain and believe me,it's not a pretty sight. Certainly nowhere near as serene and calm as Sheila was. You can feel her relief,so restful/peaceful.
June wouldn't have appeared the same, neither would Neville.

A young man hanged himself after getting " a hit " through taking cocaine. Deadly stuff. Why was Sheila taking it when she had 2 children to consider ? Why take any drugs when you're in charge of children ? Not good,is it ? Don't we condemn others for doing the same thing when we read about it ?
