Why would she?  He effectively told her that he had killed them.  Moreover, it wasn't her family so why would she try to get a taxi to pick her up to rush over to try to help even if he had called to tell her something was genuinely wrong as opposed to that he killed them which is what she claims he told her.

That is calling her makes no sense, she woudl not give a damn about them.  Calling his relatives to ask them for help might make sense but not calling her.

In th emeantime claling her before police doesn't make sense which is why Jeremy lied and to this day maintains he called police first despite Reader's dishonest attempts to revise Jeremy's claims to suit Reader's agenda.

Mugford soon began to get involved
Offering to go to the mortuary
She had NO responsibility to do this
If Jeremy were guilty which I do not believe it makes her a very sick and twisted person who enjoyed the whole saga which ended up with her getting a huge bonus

I cannot believe that the British Police did not warn the authorities that she was unsuitable as a teacher
I think it was their responsibility
From the J Mugford video it looks like she no longer has a job

If everyone else was in shock and unable to comprehend what had just happened or face identifying the bodies, Julie was probably the only person who could handle going. She would not be as upset as she was not related.

Seems like a good thing to do by her. She was trying to help.

Hello lookout  it would appear that somebody got to the wallet before Jeremy he was anxious as to its whereabouts and I have read that he knew exactly how much the wallet contained.  Think when the wallet was found it was empty.  This seems to have been a serious issue with Caroline after discussing this with him. We can come up with several reasons why he would know how much was in the wallet but Caroline was very uneasy as to why he was so evasive about its contents.

It would have been a great issue to grill him about.  Police did not go after him on a number of issues they coudl have and should have.

Hi Susan, not sure that they ever did retrieve the wallet - AE gave it to RB and after that, there is no mention of it again.

I don't think he realised the significance of knowing the amount - was it a slip up? Only he knows.

Adam are you really saying Julie would not be upset seeing two children with bullet holes in them because she was not related??? Supposedly her boyfriends good work

She said she offered because she knew them better than the relatives

So Adam do you agree she should be more upset than the relatives???

Also at the time she didn't know what was happening with the police investigation

She could have faced a lengthy sentance for perverting the course of justice
How do you think the jury would have reacted to her behaviour

I just think she was trying to help.

It has been known for people to try to help when someone's relatives die.

Did Jeremy ask her to identify the bodies ? No. There was nothing in it for him.

Can't see what advantage Julie was trying to get from identifying the bodies. The massacre had just happened and everyone was in shock.

Adam I will give her the benefit of the doubt she was trying to help had she tried to help sooner may be she would not have been identifying those little boys in the morgue : ???'(. how would we know what she actually knew

Come on Adam - She contradicts herself all the time .

She said she could not report him because no-one would believe her . And yet then she said he never admitted doing it. Then she said she laid there on the night knowing he had done it. then she said before hand she did not think he meant it. then she said she knew he meant it and told him to stop saying it because it upset her.

Anne did not seem to be particularly upset - she was busy making notes and admitted she did not cry at all in the first few days- but she could not do it because she did not know the twins well enough to tell the difference - So she was not as close to Sheila as she made out was she.

If Julie had not been told before hand and especially on the night of Jeremys plans - then yes I agree she was trying to help.

Makes you wonder doesn't it?

How flippant a remark " There was nothing in it for him ".I find that very offensive and insulting. It wouldn't have made any difference if it had been Jeremy or not, some people CAN'T handle that sort of thing, especially when it involves children !
My God you must hate the mans' guts with coming out with something like that.

Adam as you believe this charming person could you explain what This meant 'everything's going well'

I take it Jeremy had probably shot one twin and was talking to her between finishing off the rest of the family??

So at anytime when he said that to her she could have phoned the police and they could have saved other members of the family ????
