I have restored this because Alias has commented on its removal and I believe it is appropriate for members to take it into consideration when evaluating Scipio's recent responses to criticisms of his style of posting.

Utterly childish with nasty connotations. Lawyer my eye. That's an insult to lawyers.

Not sure why it should be posted, it wasn't talking about this forum - it was talking about the red forum - you don't see the red forum kicking off about it.  Are we now to presume it's okay to post anything members here posts elsewhere that may show them in a bad light?

I agree with the original mod decision and feel it dissapointing that's been openly overruled.

It has not been overuled.  The original decision was made for sound reasons, namely to calm the fracas which was developing on the thread concerned.  The removal was no critisism of Alias for posting the screenshot.  She was entitled to provide clear evidence from Scipio himself about his attitude towards and motivation for posting on forums such as this.  The subject has once again come up and has been hotly debated.  Scipio has given his explanation for the way he posts.  Alias has referred to his post on another forum which might lead some members to doubt Scipio's sincerity on the matter.  Alias complained that her screenshot of the post had been removed and in the context of this discussion I decided that it was appropriate to repost the screenshot.

I am in no way crtiticising whichever mod removed the post.  I have not reposted the posts which followed.

Maybe I should plug here as well but it seems that apart from a handful of Brits who post on the Amityville Board no one else there had much interest in this case.

I don't think anything short of some major blockbuster will spark much interest even in the UK.  Many people seem to care about only select things that directly impact them especially the younger generation.

It's perhaps not their interest, one way or the other which is of importance, but your own admission that you've had yourself some fun (I guess that would be at out expense, then) stirring up trouble.

There is little fun in joining a site where there is nothing to argue because everyone agrees fully.  My signature fashion of stirring trouble though is busting myths and misrepresentations.  That causes sparks to fly. Katzenback (producer of the POS Amityville documentary) not only banned me but others all critics from his website and he even refused to sell the subequent parts of his trilogy (which has more than 3 parts so someone should explain to him what tri means) on Amazon because Amazon allows negative reviews.  He used shils to post favorable reviews for part I to try to drown out the bad reviews. The soap opera long preeceded me.

The chances of this happening is very remote isn't it?
Presumably not if it happened.

Another sad ending to a custody battle between the parents of a little boy. The court had granted the boys' father custody of his son,and during the summer holidays, the ex-wife had their son ( aged 4 ) for 2 weeks.
Before handing the little boy over, the wife filled a can up with petrol, poured it all over the place, indoors and set alight to it,thus murdering her son and committing suicide herself.
Nobody, but nobody could have foreseen that this was going to happen, only the mother herself of course.
