Do you mean witnesses who materialized after the trial, witnesses whose statements were available, but not used during the trial, or witnesses used in the trial? Does Brett count?

Hmm, there was a student known to both Julie and Jeremy, who supposedly confirmed Jeremy had expressed dislike of his parents. Various people who had worked at the farm were presumably asked about Jeremy, but I'm not sure which gave statements about him.

The students would only have heard what JM would have said, and half of that didn't hold water.

Mike did publish a list of statements , but not sure if they were character witnesses or not , but I was surprised how many there were.

with the relatives I would have thought they were pretty insular in their searching and note taking.

the only others that might know I guess were other people who worked on the farm.

What a strange mission to undertake. It's clearly obvious that there will be no one to back up what Mugford has said, because Bamber told her things in private - so no " independant witnesses " can say they can back it up.

As for the relatives - not sure why they would involve anyone else.

It seems you have a group of people saying the same thing and in a desperation to undermine that you're trying to say because there isn't anyone outside of the griup saying the same thing the groups evidence is somehow likely untrue.

Strange way to bend over backwards to try and make a cluttered point.

there must be some witnesses who can confirm or refute things the relatives said.

well if the relatives were telling the truth in what they said about sheila there must be people who knew her who can confirm or refute it.

what i would like is if there are independant witnesses who can confirm or refute what the relatives said about both Jeremy and sheila such as sheila not being able to shoot and jeremy saying dads things about her and stuff like that.

I don't think you'll find any, nugs. Surely to goodness the law draws the line somewhere. Anything that's ever said about a brother or sister we ALL know goes on all the time in every family. It wasn't just unique to the Bamber children.
It was bad enough having to read the tittle-tattle that came out of the relatives who only saw the Bambers every Preston Guild,so anyone outside the family would have known even less.
