This actually does make it sound like he has given up defending Jeremy as innocent:

"I concede defeat to my betters on the forum and their arguments according to the evidence that we have access to have at last won over me and therefore I have nothing more to argue for."

He specifically states he was won over.

But I have seen Grahame change 180 degrees in the matter of minutes so whether he still feels the same way or not who knows. But for his drastic swings I would agree with mat that he now views Jeremy as guilty.  Since I know about them I am not going to venture as to his current beliefs which probably are still subject to change at any given moment.

He might be back like the previous occasions. only time will tell.

Sometimes a break is good, I'm sure he'll return at some point.

Well unfortunately that's the nature of the beast, people talk, it's no different to to when other people aren't around, I've got more threads titled 'Hartley where art thou' etc that you can shake a stick at.

If Grahame didn't want people to pass comment then perhaps he shouldn't have created this thread?
