It's a crazy situation Alias. Remember when Jeremy asked for some documents from them and they sent him a pile of other stuff as well which had some interesting documents amongst them.   They seem to be strangely careless with it at times?  It's a crazy situation.

 The Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) referred the case back to the Court of Appeal in 2001, which upheld the conviction again in 2002. The CCRC rejected further applications from Bamber's lawyers in 2004 and 2012.[3] In July 2013 the European Court of Human Rights ruled in Bamber's favour that there must be a possibility, for whole-life prisoners, of release and review.

Answered my own question. So four appeals have failed ? If Wikipedia is correct.

Did the CCRC ever ask to see any amount of the vast quantities held under PII in response and to properly be able to make a decicion in Jeremy´s appeals?

It will be amazing if Jeremy gets released after one conviction & four failed appeals.

It's my understanding that they were told the documents must be retained. Maybe they were willing to risk their jobs rather than reveal what those documents held. At the end of the day they probably said "Ooooops", breathed a sigh of relief and laughed.

It amazes me that some can't see anything wrong with this.

No mention of the audio-tapes hidden at Southend-on-Sea Police Station ? Along with the original documents belonging to the case.

Dispite all these documents being denied. Jeremy apparently has obtained damaging photos of the police.

Urinating at WHF. A banner at WHF & the police with dead bodies in lewd positions.

Surely these photos would have been destroyed in 96 or before.

Wasn´t it mostly physical evidence they destroyed - clothes and such? In a case that was still active and being appealed.

Grahame, it sickens me beyond belief. The guilters would be laughing on the other side of their faces if it was one of their family who was behind bars for something they denied doing and the strongest means of getting them released had been "accidentally" destroyed.
