I did NOT take your thread down!!
Just out of interest Adam, why do Essex Police think they would have got a confession if the interview had been taped?I agree regarding the responses in the interview by the way, they read as very evasive, but it isn't always easy to get a true understanding of how an interview went from written stuff. I wish there had been a taped interview as it might be more informative.
30 years later-----------------------no confession ? Why's that,do you think ?
I wrote a post on why Jeremy has not confessed. There are 7 or 8 reasons why. I will re post soon.
Adam please don't bother to re post anything
Having to write everything down meant there were long gaps between questions. The police said Jeremy had time to anticipate the question & think of his answer. So he was always one step ahead. That would not have been the case if the interviews were taped. I do not believe Jeremy would have confessed if the interviews were taped. He was much too confident of being watertight & proud of his perfect plan. He was also determined to spend the money he was about to inherit. The police were going to have to get a conviction.
Do you think Jeremy would have confessed if the police interviews were taped ?
Adam I don't think Jeremy would have confessed if the interviews were taped infact I don't think Jeremy would have confessed if they had hung him upside down and stuck hot pokers in him. Hope that answers your question Jeremy Bamber will never confess to a crime he did not commit.
